The work continues! We are a short span away from sending our Thugs off to production! We'll be grinding extra hard so more visual updates to come.

Suckapunch

During this whole race to the finish, Suckahpunch has been doing some of his best work. I'm not just saying that because i'm his biggest fan, i'm saying that because of pieces like Turf War and Car Wash.

Turf War

This new Drama card creates a core mechanic we have needed in Thug Life for a long time. We wanted players to be fighting over Turf cards and we wanted to keep game play snappy. Turf War does both these jobs. Turf War will come into play 1-3 times a game to start a fight for Turf cards.

Car Wash

Stay cool this summer Homies with some trips to the Car Wash. More updates soon.

Manufacturing, Big Announcement & Hood Boards

Happy muggy Sunday Homies!

It has been much too long since our last update so let's get into it...

Manufacturing

No news is good news! With so much in flux from tariffs to ever-shifting shipping quotes and changes in the industry we are eyeballing our manufacturing calendar but right now it's all green lights!

Big Announcement

Teasers anyone? As many of you know Thug Life has been at the heart of many controversial conversations on social media ever since our first Kickstarter. What you don't know is that our story has been documented by a team of very passionate filmmakers for the last several years. Although we can't say more than that right now, we are excited to be able to share our story in another medium!

Home sweet home

Last update we showed off some great concept art of one of our brand Hood boards. We have worked hard on these because we love them, but also because getting these right is very important to visually expressing Hood mechanics and play spaces. 

We shortened the length of the board but increased the width to create a more traditional tableau style play board while still comfortably accommodating our components. We increased the height of the mid board upright. Now it's much easier to tell the difference between Thugs in play and Thugs out of play while also creating a simple way to "hide" Dolla count from prying eyes and fingers...

Suckahpunch really dug into these, hiding easter eggs in each one of them. $ pool floatee? Yup. That's my fave. Can't wait until you can find your own! Next time we will show a 3D render of these beauties and share more new art.

Making it!

Our manufacturing deal is finally ironed out and we are starting to create our press files! We will have manufacturing info in the near future.

Rulebooking

Our final rulebook is complete! If anyone of you pro gamer/rule nazis out there are interested in looking it over, we would love to have more eyeballs on it before we ship 'er off. Please reach out if your interested. We will also be posting it online and will notify all of you lovely humans here.

Backerkit

As we are getting close to closing our backerkit, this is the time to get your last minutes orders in and share it with your Homies. Thank you so much for making this all possible!

Hey Homies!

Breaking radio silence! Hope your new year is off to a great start. We were dark for holidays as several members of our team left town but now we back!

Lots of things moving on our end. We are finishing up the last pieces of art, including the new Hood board designs and polishing up old roughs. 

Our updated rulebook should be shareable very soon and after that  we will  planning several blind playtests in the LA area so if your out here and have not played before, give us a shout and we would be happy to run a game or two for your Homies!

After that we'll focus on our press files and get this beast out to the manufacturer as soon as possible.

Urgent Update: Backerkit Shipping Resolved

What's up, Homies!

This is Al checking in to let you all know that I've been back and forth with Backerkit and everything seems to be on the up & up for shipping rates.

Another thing is that US backers now have the ability to purchase dice and skulls WITHOUT the game for $5 shipping. Starting tomorrow (Wed) at 12:00PM, backers from all other regions should also be live with that feature. 

The price for other countries will vary, but will be based on up to 3lbs.

If anyone has other issues or questions, please don't hesitate to contact us.
